St. Martin Schools STEAM T Magnet Academies ST. MARTIN STEAM MAGNET ACADEMIES To Create. To Improve. To Innovate. Launching in the 2024-2025 school year, the St. Martin Parish Schools STEAM Magnet Academies, located in historic and beautiful St. Martinville, will feature unique, engaging, and innovative STEAM curriculum and enrichment opportunities for students. Applications are NOW OPEN for all eligible Pre-K through grade 5 M-to-M transfer students zoned for Cecilia Primary, Parks Primary, and Teche Elementary. STEAM Programming The St. Martin STEAM Academies feature a whole-school STEAM-centered concept. Early learners in Pre-K will be introduced to an exploratory, STEAM classroom model and daily standalone STEAM instruction aligned with state guidelines. Students from Kindergarten through grade 5 will experience STEAM lessons and activities integrated throughout their core curriculum. Students will also have daily sustained engagement in visual and graphic arts, music, dance, drama, and STEM classes. These STEAM activities will be available at no charge during regular school hours, after school, and in the summer program for all magnet students.
