Iberia Parish is a parish located in the US state of Louisiana. Iberia Parish Government is made up of an executive and legislative branch governed by a Home Rule Charter adopted in 1984. Iberia Parish President serves as the parish's chief executive. The legislative branch includes an elected 14-member council. The parish president's office is located on the 4th floor of the Iberia Parish Courthouse. The council meets three times a month to conduct parish business, always on the first, second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.
